Job Title: Electronic Technician

Position Summary

The position entails the evaluation, troubleshooting and repair of various analog, digital and combination components. The products involved are in support of multiple military airborne, ground and shipboard applications. Requirements include the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level, read schematic diagrams, with knowledge and experience using standard electronics lab test equipment.

Position Basic Requirements

· Must possess a broad knowledge of analog & digital systems and be familiar with RF and control electronics

· Experience using standard lab equipment, e.g. Multimeters, O-Scopes, Waveform generators, etc. to test and validate customer assets

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. May be required to work without schematics, parts lists, or any OEM manuals

· Must have a strong record keeping ethic. Document findings and maintain records for future reference including research on jobs without available documentation

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision/mentoring

· While not required, certification to either or both IPC-J-STD-001 and /or IPC-A-610 are preferred

· Must be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
