Position Summary:
The IT & Business Systems Administrator will serve as the first-line IT support person for the Americas, managing helpdesk requests, coordinating with the IT team at our corporate office in France, and ensuring seamless IT operations. This role will also oversee ERP system support, with a preference for candidates experienced in Odoo, Cognito, and Microsoft Power BI.
This individual will also be expected to drive ideas and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across IT and business systems. Additionally, they will act as a strategic bridge between the Americas region and the corporate IT team in France, ensuring alignment on IT policies, security measures, and system improvements.Key Responsibilities:
IT Support & Coordination:
Act as the first point of contact for IT support in the Americas.
Set up and maintain laptops and other IT hardware.
Manage and monitor all IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
Serve as the liaison between the Americas and the French IT team, ensuring regional IT needs are aligned with global IT strategy.
ERP & Business Systems Support:
Provide support and administration for Odoo ERP (preferred).
Assist in ERP system optimizations and troubleshooting.
Support integrations between Cognito, Microsoft Power BI, and ERP systems.
Data & Reporting Support:
Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft Power BI (if applicable).
Ensure data integrity and consistency across business applications.
Security & Compliance:
Monitor system performance and security risks.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and industry best practices.
User Training & Documentation:
Provide technical guidance and training to employees.
Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base for internal users.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance IT and business system processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement more efficient workflows.
CAD/PDM Software (Preferred but Not Required):
Experience with CAD/PDM software is a plus for supporting design and product management teams.Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
Minimum 1-3 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
Experience managing IT support tickets and helpdesk processes.
Ability to collaborate with a global IT team and serve as a strategic bridge between regions.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
Cognito Forms experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with cloud-based IT environments.
CAD/PDM software experience is a plus.Skills:
