Robot Technician

Job Description

We are seeking entry level up to experienced Robot Technicians at Allied Plastics in Twin Lakes, WI. Robot Technicians at Allied Plastics are essential in the daily function and operator of our Robotic machines. If you consider yourself technically inclined and enjoy working with your hands this could be the job for you!

All shifts available

Robot Technician Essential Duties

Oversee the general production and quality of the Robotic Trim Cells.

Load and unload equipment and materials from the Robotic Trim Cell.

Understand vacuum and part fit/location.

Scrape, clean, and de-burr parts when necessary.

Basic troubleshooting of robots and related equipment as needed.

Learn to assist in programing the robots.

Utilize ERP computer system (Epicor) to collect data regarding parts

Log and record production metrics daily.

Identify quality concerns as soon as possible to avoid scrap.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Follow and understand company Employee Handbook and all plant safety rules and regulations.

Perform other work duties as directed by your supervisor.

Robot Technician Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus

Previous robotics experience is a plus

Technical mindset and self motivated

Comfortable using computers and related programs

Dependable with reliable transportation

Comfortable working in the heat

Able to stand 8 hours daily

Able to read and understand work instructions

Able to use basic hand tools as needed
