Skillforce is seeking skilled Electro-Mechanical Technicians - LabVIEW Specialists for work in Warren, MI. Per diem is available for anyone traveling in for the job.

This position is crucial to our team. You will be installing an automotive equipment line. Need to be able to troubleshoot PLC controls. This is mechanical/electrical work, you will not be programming.

Electro-Mechanical Technician - LabVIEW Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and maintain automated test systems for automotive components (e.g., powertrain, thermal systems, ADAS, EV batteries).

Troubleshoot LabVIEW-based applications for data logging, control loops, and hardware interfacing.

Integrate and calibrate various sensors (e.g., pressure transducers, thermocouples, load cells, flow meters) with NI DAQ hardware.

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system documentation.

Support validation testing including durability, environmental (thermal/cycle), and functional performance testing.

Perform wiring, soldering, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting of custom test rigs.

Collaborate with test engineers, R&D, and quality teams to develop and refine test procedures.

Maintain accurate records of test configurations, software revisions, and test results.

Ensure safety protocols and automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949) are followed.

Electro-Mechanical Technician - LabVIEW Specialist Qualifications:

Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in an automotive test environment or similar electro-mechanical field.

Proficiency in LabVIEW for test automation and data acquisition (CLAD certification preferred).

Strong troubleshooting and hands-on diagnostic skills.

Location: Warren, MI

Pay:

$40-$50 per hour

$125/day per diem paid on all 7 days (if traveling in)

Flight reimbursement or mileage of .70 for travel in/out.

Rental car with fuel allowance available if flying.

Shift: 12 hour shifts, 6-7 days a week.

Duration 2-3 weeks with potential of future travel jobs.
