Job Summary:

The Sous Chef plays a critical leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing daily operations. This includes supervising kitchen staff, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and upholding all health and safety standards. The Sous Chef is instrumental in ensuring smooth service during peak hours while fostering a collaborative and disciplined kitchen environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and commercial equipment.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Ability to lead under pressure and deliver consistent results in a fast-paced setting.

Food Safety Certification required; culinary degree preferred.
