Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Analyst supports a wide range of HR initiatives within a collaborative, team-driven environment. This position requires a high level of proficiency across multiple HR disciplines, including benefits administration, compensation, employment, HRIS, payroll, and other related functions. Serving as an HR Generalist, the Analyst is responsible for managing projects, performs data analysis, and provides guidance to directors, managers, and employees regarding the interpretation and application of human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
Role and Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage records of all HR processes, including document retention and management systems, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Develop, maintain, review, and update compensation and benefits documentation, policies, and materials to ensure compliance and alignment with AlphaGen objectives.
Manage HR communications, including the preparation and dissemination of new employee announcements and the maintenance of HR-related website content.
Administer the HRIS, ensuring the ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all data.
Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes, promoting a positive employee experience and organizational compliance.
Assist the Director of Human Resources in the oversight and management of benefit vendor relationships, including monitoring service delivery and addressing vendor-related issues.
Direct various benefit-related activities, such as ensuring accurate data sharing to benefit providers and supporting responses to audit and compliance inquiries.
Provide support for payroll administration, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee compensation.
Support the management and administration of HR programs, including organizational chart maintenance, spot award programs, performance management processes, policy development and revisions, and any updates to the employee handbook.
Prepare and provide analysis of employee-related reporting, metrics, and data to inform HR management decisions and strategic planning.
Daily utilization of the HRIS, and other data management systems, to maintain workforce information and reporting accuracy.
Conduct research and aid in the development, implementation, and revision of HR policies and procedures as required.
Safeguard confidential information, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks while applying advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Foster and maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships, contributing positively to a cooperative team environment.
Adhere to established work schedules and demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance.
Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed to support departmental and AlphaGen goals.
Professional and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for education).
Minimum of two years of full-time HR Generalist experience, including HR program administration.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to cut through ambiguity at time.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS preferred.
