We are seeking a talented and versatile Interior Designer to join our dynamic Real Estate Flipping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of creativity, excellent design skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the capability to handle multiple housing projects concurrently, including dealing with contractors and tracking budgets and expenses.Compensation:
$75,000 - $85,000Responsibilities:
Design Planning: Develop design concepts and plans that meet the firm’s needs and preferences while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Space Utilization: Optimize space usage and create functional, aesthetically pleasing environments.
Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision and project requirements.
Presentation: Create detailed presentations and mood boards to illustrate design ideas and solutions for management’s approval.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
Contractor Coordination: Liaise with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to specifications and on time.
Budget Tracking: Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits, and report any discrepancies.
Timeline Management: Develop and adhere to project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Quality Control: Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
License Coordination: Coordinate with HOA and other organizations to obtain required licenses, permits, and approvals.Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design and project management.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
