Job Description
Summary:
The Vision Systems Engineer will support the prevention of quality issue in advance and maximize output (yield, OEE) through the establishment of inspection system, management of inspection equipment maintenance, improvement of inspection equipment performance, and the introduction of new equipment.
Responsibilities:
Submit daily production reports on improvements and KPIs which is distributed to production teams and HQ
Support production through adjusting parameters daily
Install vision system machine, make schedule for installation equipment, distribute schedule to production teams, HQ, and vendor
Inspection machine PM management (inspection machine maintenance/performance management / Vision Spare Parts)
Inspection equipment improvement activities
Improve/manage inspection machine accuracy and detection power
Establishment of inspection information management system
Expansion of equipment and dissemination/application of new technologies for inspection
Review/plan of inspection machine model development and model change
Develop technician skill and improvement plan and implementing
Establishment and management of inspection machine standards
Establishment and revision of PFD, BM/PM/PD Manual
Compliance with health/safety/environmental/ fire regulations
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering preferred) or a related field such as Computer Science; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience:
1-3+ years of related experience preferred
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Sisense; Spotfire is highly preferred
Skills:
Facilities/Equipment related knowledge
TPM and PM knowledge
Six Sigma knowledge
MS Office Suite
