Fund Accounting Manager

We are currently on the looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join our team. This Fund Accounting Manager will report to a VP/Controller.

Background and Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess 7 to 10 years of accounting and auditing experience, including the following:

Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring professional staff.

Proficiency in GAAP financial reporting, with a preference for experience related to investment companies and fund-of-funds.

Competence in using general ledger accounting systems, such as Sage Intacct.

Experience as a liaison with external auditors.

The ability to plan and execute financial statement audits.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

In this role, your responsibilities will encompass:

Overseeing and monitoring the daily operations of the accounting team, with a specific focus on the Company's investment funds. This includes establishing and regularly reviewing the Company's accounting policies and procedures.

Maintaining and improving internal controls and procedures.

Ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial reports and information.

Collaborating with the Company's external accounting firm during the year-end audit and conducting a thorough review of audit reports before final issuance.

Responding to various investor requests for reports and information.

Providing mentorship and fostering the development of the Company's accounting staff.
