An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated and skilled HR Manager to join an industry leading organisation in Langley. As a part of the small HR team, reporting into an awesome HR leader, you will be joining a team that shares the passion for people and our core values. This company will make you feel like family, and your job as the HR manager will be to provide analysis, development, and writing of policies, procedures, and best practices. You will manage the performance management, training, leave of absence, attendance and onboarding along with other programs as directed by the Head of HR.

Your day to day role will involve:

Providing leadership across the organization being the key HR Contact to implement processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Hiring, onboarding, training, conducting performance evaluations, and taking corrective actions with employees in conjunction with managers, including termination and offboarding.

Engaging in conflict resolution process to resolve issues.

Implementing and managing the progressive discipline policy.

Overseeing and tracking staff attendance and grievance handling process with the union.

Maintaining and updating the company's employee handbook and personnel policies in accordance with all provincial and federal requirements, training and educating staff where necessary.

Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all employees at all times.

Key Qualifications:

Post-Secondary degree in a relevant field (human resources, business administration).

CPHR designation is an asset.

5-10 years' experience in an HR role preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working in a unionised environment dealing with employee grievances.

Extremely organized and can work with minimal supervision.
