Job Description

Our client, a top-tier Plumbing Contractor based in Loomis, CA, is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to bring skill and dedication to their dynamic crew. In this role, you will take on a variety of projects in residential and commercial plumbing, working with a team that values quality craftsmanship and dependable service. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of hands-on plumbing experience and a strong commitment to safety and excellence.

Location: Loomis, CA

Pay Rate: $66,560 - $76.960 annually DOE

What’s the Job?

Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.

Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe. Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors

Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, cuts and threads pipes

Bends pipe to required angle by use pipe bending machine or by placing pipe over block and bending it by hand. Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, lead and non-metals such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic

Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers and water softeners, repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending bursts pipes and opening clogged drains, welds holding fixtures to steel structural members

What’s Needed?

One-to-two-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and co-workers in English.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

All Plumbers must hold a current driver's license and clean driving record
