This hybrid opportunity offers direct client access, in-depth policy work, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment. Associates here aren’t just task-takers—they are treated as future leaders, given real responsibility, and coached to grow into client-facing roles and eventually partnership.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
Hybrid Flexibility – In-office Tuesday–Thursday, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays
State-of-the-Art Office – Newly built, amenity-rich space that supports both collaboration and focus
No Origination Credit Politics – Cross-selling is encouraged, and attorneys keep what they earn
True Mentorship Culture – Associates are teamed closely with one or two partners for personalized training, exposure to sophisticated matters, and regular client contact
Succession Planning – Opportunities to inherit client relationships and grow a personal book of business
Support for Personal Brand Growth – The firm encourages attorneys to establish thought leadership and visibility in the industry
National Reach – Over 100 attorneys across 10 offices, with deep roots in insurance and commercial coverage matters
Pathways to Leadership – Both equity and non-equity partnership opportunities available
What You’ll Do:
Draft detailed and accurate insurance coverage opinions
Review and interpret insurance policies and contractual language across various lines of business
Provide advice to clients on complex coverage issues
Prepare client communications and status reports
Engage in policy review and analysis as part of a collaborative team
Participate in client calls and contribute to the development of long-term relationships
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Licensed in California and in good standing
JD from a top law school preferred

Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Attention to detail and ability to produce polished, high-stakes work
A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for learning and building a long-term home
Prior experience at a high-quality defense or insurance coverage firm is strongly preferred
