About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers, ensuring they are in top condition for our drivers and customers. You will work closely with our team of mechanics to diagnose and troubleshoot any issues and provide timely and effective solutions. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality work will be essential in ensuring the best possible service. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, a bi-weekly bonus, and benefits packages.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a vocational or technical program in trailer maintenance and repair
At least 1 year of experience in trailer maintenance and repair
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with welding and fabrication
Experience with refrigeration systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance on trailers, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing effective solutions
Repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts, such as brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to safety standards and regulations
