Job Details
Our manufacturing company is seeking a Controls Engineer/Technician with experience in maintaining machine control systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting automated systems. Additionally, this role will perform any other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot machine control systems to ensure optimum performance
Develop and implement PLC programs for new and existing machines
Work with production team to identify and resolve machine issues
Interface with TCP/IP networks to ensure seamless communication between machines
Develop and implement RFID tracking devices to improve machine diagnostics and tracking
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and increase machine longevity
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline AND/OR 3+ years of hands on experience with automation, PLCs, or overall controls systems.
3+ years of experience in maintaining machine control systems and PLC programming
Strong background in troubleshooting automated systems
Experience working with TCP/IP networks and RFID tracking devices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
