Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the Financial Accounting and Reporting department supporting the business unit accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Austin, MN

Pay Range: $21.50 per hour

What's the Job?

Perform period close accounting duties, including entering journal vouchers for accruals and allocations.

Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to produce a high volume of accurate and complete work.

Ensure the accuracy of entries through balance sheet reconciliations.

Work with the marketing team to administer annual marketing accruals and track spending throughout the year.

Prepare wire payments for vendor invoices related to international operations.

What's Needed?

Associate’s degree in accounting and/or 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to adapt as business needs change.
