Job Summary

Clearstaff in Villa Park is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker for a wine distributer in the Schiller Park, IL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and moving products within the warehouse using a cherry picker or similar equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly and in a timely manner.

Schedule: 2PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri(Will have to train on 1st shift from 7AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri)

Pay rate :$19.00

Responsibilities

Operate cherry pickers and other material handling equipment to pick orders accurately from high shelving.

Perform order picking tasks, ensuring items are picked in accordance with customer specifications.

Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading trucks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipping and manage inventory effectively.

Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.

Qualifications

Previous experience operating cherry pickers or similar material handling equipment is preferred.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus.

Ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 50-75 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
