About the Role
The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis efforts at Milrose, with a focus on budget-to-actual variances, headcount management, and strategic projects. Reporting to the VP of FP&A & BI, this role is a key partner to business units across the organization and helps ensure effective resource allocation and decision-making support.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Perform monthly close activities and variance analysis
Present actionable financial insights to department and executive leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial deliverables
Build tools and dashboards to improve financial visibility and performance tracking
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
What You’ll Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum 3 years of FP&A or related financial experience
Exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, must be detail oriented
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
Experience with SQL, Power BI, PowerPivot
Familiarity with Salesforce/FinancialForce or other ERP systems
A proactive, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset
Work Environment & Schedule
Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
REMOTE. Candidates located in the NY/NJ/CT area may be asked to work in a hybrid capacity.
Occasional travel to client sites or municipal agencies may be required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $120K - $150K/yr, based on knowledge, skills, and experience
