Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing facility. This role requires proficiency in operating and maintaining various machinery, as well as the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively. The Manufacturing Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including logic controllers and hydraulic systems.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met.
Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
Analyze production processes for efficiency improvements and implement necessary changes.
Safely operate scissor lifts and other equipment as required during maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting is advantageous.
Strong understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
Experience reading and interpreting technical schematics is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations.
