Service Technician
Reports to: Field Service Manager
Job Type: Full-time with on-call & overtime
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job description
Includes inspection, tear down and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems from start to finish.
Must have ability to diagnose defects on heavy duty equipment, including, but not limited to screening plants, rock crushers, conveyors, conveyor belt scales, rock breakers, etc.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to vendor guidelines.
You will undergo periodic training with innovations in heavy equipment operations, repairs and maintenance to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service.
Use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toed work boots and hard hats is required.
This position will require driving to customer specific locations and could require overnight stays.
General mechanical knowledge required.
Will primarily be working in an outdoor environment.
Overtime and on-call work beyond 40 hours may be required depending on the client and the task given by the Field Service Manager.
Other Qualifications
Extensive hydraulic and technical experience in open and closed hydraulic systems
Experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders.
Experience with DC voltage.
Experience with AC voltage is a plus.
Welding and Oxy-Acetylene torch knowledge.
Skills in using heavy equipment and power tools.
High-level employment as a Mechanic/Technician.
Requirements:
Must pass drug test
Must have clean driving record and current TXDL
Must complete and pass background check
