JobSummary:
TheFacilities and Maintenance Coordinator supports daily operations bycoordinating maintenance services, handling minor repairs, and helping ensure aclean, safe, and efficient workplace. This role involves working closely withinternal teams and external vendors to manage facility-related requests,employee moves, and building upkeep projects. The ideal candidate will beproactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform lightmaintenance and patch/paint work as needed.
KeyResponsibilities:
Coordinate and track maintenance work orders and service requests
Perform light repair and maintenance tasks such as patching and painting walls, fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues, and replacing ceiling tiles or lights
Assist with furniture moves, employee workspace setup, and employee churn (onboarding/offboarding support)
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues
Serve as a liaison between internal staff and external service providers
Schedule and oversee vendor activities, inspections, and project timelines
Manage inventory and supply ordering for facility-related materials
Maintain facility documentation such as maintenance logs, inspection reports, and contracts
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
Support emergency and after-hours response if required (though not typical)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; further education or technical training preferred
2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or related field
Hands-on experience with basic maintenance tasks (patch/paint, minor repairs, etc.)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and facility work order systems
Strong communication and organization skills
Physical ability to lift to 30 lbs
Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work both independently and in a team
