Join us at IABA as a Behavior Interventionist and embark on a rewarding journey where you can transform the lives of children and adolescents facing developmental challenges, including Autism. In this pivotal role, you will implement tailored treatment plans, foster skill development, and provide essential resources and support to empower our clients in reaching their full potential!
Leverage the proven techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as you provide individualized, one-on-one support in a home setting. With our positive, strengths-based approach, you’ll help encourage desired behaviors while enhancing vital skills in play, self-care, cognition, social interactions, and communication.

HOURS:
Part Time:
10-15 hours per week
Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:30pm
Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using applied behavior analysis techniques.
Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with families and educational staff to support children with developmental disabilities, including autism.
Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.
Drive to various locations for home visits as required.
Requirements
US work authorization
Must pass criminal background check
Negative TB test results
Reliable computer and internet access available daily
Reliable transportation, CA driver's license, proof of auto insurance
Interest and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents, including the ability to be silly and have fun playing
Patience and empathy when addressing challenging behaviors
Commitment to our positive-only method, our mission, and to the highest standard of ethics
Reliability and dedication to working daily with our clients
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, walk, run, bend, squat, kneel, sit and play on the floor, stand for long periods of time, and engage in fast-paced physical activities with children and teens
Willingness to work with clients of all ages (2-23), all behaviors (including aggressive or destructive behaviors), and all support needs (including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
