-The Collections Specialist is responsible for collection activities related to outstanding/past-due health insurance claims.

Location- The first 90 days will be 5 days in the office, with a possible hybrid schedule after 90 days

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Follows established guidelines, contacts group for the purpose of collecting payments for outstanding/past due health

insurance claims.

• Research validity of outstanding balances and takes proper steps to resolve unpaid claims.

• Obtains payment status and information for additional research.

• Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review.Company Description
