Job Description

Pay: $20 - $28 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday and every other Saturday 7:00 am- 5:00 pm

Job Description:

Seeking a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines used in lawn equipment and agricultural machinery. You will work with equipment like lawnmowers, tractors, compact construction equipment, and more. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, where your skills and dedication will make a difference in ensuring our customers’ equipment runs smoothly. We are located in Angleton, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical issues on small engines and equipment

Perform routine maintenance

Repair engines and machinery, including fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems

Conduct thorough inspections and provide repair recommendations

Maintain an organized work area, ensuring safety and cleanliness

Provide excellent customer service, explaining repair work and offering maintenance advice

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and repair techniques

Requirements:

You must have your own tools and box.

Must live near Angleton, Texas.

Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a similar role (experience with lawn and agricultural equipment preferred)

Strong knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of small engines and related systems

Familiarity with tools and equipment used in engine repair

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary

Preferred:

Certification from a recognized small engine repair program (optional but preferred)

Experience working with agricultural machinery is a plus
