Insurance Collections

Currently seeking an Insurance Collections Representative for Express ER, a group of Free-

Standing Emergency Rooms that bring communities in Texas accessible, concierge-level care

that they can trust. Applicants should have some Emergency Room Medical Billing knowledge

and have a proven history of strong investigative skills.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Collections Representative:

Researching insurance balances over 60 days

Contacting payers via phone and web

Recognizing and reporting any consistent payer trends

Correcting billing errors including but not limited to mistyped information

Accurately examining payer/coding edits for corrections

Posting adjustments and applying patient balances

Requirements of the Insurance Collections Representative:

Able to communicate in English verbally and written

Previous medical billing/Customer Service experience preferred

Commercial and Out-of-Network billing experience a plus

Base knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes

Strong communication and technical skills
