Buying & Sourcing

We are looking for a dynamic and fashion-savvy Buying and Sourcing Executive to manage the procurement and sourcing of apparel for our retail clothing brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying fashion trends, sourcing quality materials and finished goods, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of collections in line with seasonal calendars and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

*Source apparel, fabrics, trims, and accessories in line with the brand’s aesthetic, quality, and price points.

*Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers.

*Negotiate pricing, terms, and MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities) with vendors to optimize costs and ensure profitability.

*Collaborate with design and product development teams to translate seasonal concepts into commercial collections.

*Conduct market research and trend analysis to support buying decisions.

*Monitor production timelines, manage order follow-ups, and ensure on-time deliveries.

*Ensure quality control standards are met through close collaboration with QA/QC teams.

*Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.

*Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and sourcing documentation.

*Support sustainable and ethical sourcing practices aligned with the brand’s values.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Business, or related field.

*2+ years of experience in buying/sourcing, preferably in apparel or fashion retail.

*Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.

*Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

*Ability to work in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with PLM/ERP systems is a plus.

*Strong organizational and time management skills.

*Willingness to travel as needed for vendor visits and trade shows.

Preferred Skills:

*Understanding of sustainable sourcing and ethical compliance standards.

*Experience with private label or fast fashion management.
