Inventory Executive

Job Summary:

The Inventory Executive is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory control processes in our retail operations. This includes monitoring stock levels, managing inventory accuracy, forecasting demand, coordinating with suppliers and store managers, and ensuring that inventory levels meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.

Key Responsibilities:

*Monitor and maintain current inventory levels across all retail locations and warehouses.

*Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.

*Forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotions.

*Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize stock replenishment.

*Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing stock.

*Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.

*Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.

*Generate inventory reports and present insights to senior management.

*Manage inventory software systems and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

*Coordinate logistics for returns, damages, and stock transfers.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

*2+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail environment.

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

*Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Unicommerce & Shopify)

*Excellent organizational and communication skills.

*Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

*Knowledge of retail operations and supply chain processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Certification in inventory or supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
