Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Dining Rom Server. This position plays a key role in creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A passion for working with seniors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet residents warmly and ensure an exceptional dining experience

Take meal orders and serve food and beverages promptly and courteously

Deliver meals to resident apartments as needed

Clear, clean, and reset tables following meals

Maintain cleanliness in the dining room and service areas, including vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces

Follow all food handling and sanitation standards

Communicate menu offerings and answer questions about food ingredients or preparation methods

Complete assigned opening, running, and closing duties

Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Culinary Director

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Serving experience preferred

Successful completion of background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test

Friendly demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work with patience, empathy, and professionalism

Willingness to learn food safety and sanitation procedures

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and balance with proper body mechanics
