Job Summary:

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge control systems for our advanced machinery. You'll design electrical schematics, create ladder logic programs, and develop intuitive graphic interfaces, all while working with industry-leading Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with customers and internal teams, providing technical expertise that drives the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Develop of electrical control systems for our state-of-the-art industrial equipment.

Manage and monitor the development of control systems for assigned projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain and uphold design standards that define our reputation for quality and reliability.

Provide expert consultation for sales teams during proposal development and offer support to Field Service Engineers.

Collaborate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to ensure seamless integration of control systems.

Contribute to maintaining Simpson Technologiesâ status as an industry leader in performance, service, and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelorâ s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.

1-2 years of hands-on experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs.

1+ years of experience designing Allen Bradley control panels, including panel layout and bill of materials creation.

Strong knowledge of industrial controls, including sensors, AC/DC drives, and servo controllers.

Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC5, and CompactLogix PLCs, as well as PanelView Plus HMI programming.

Experience with Siemens PLCs and Comfort Panel HMI programming is a plus.
