Position: Heavy Duty Mobile Diesel Technician

LOTS entered the U.S. market in 2021 through their acquisition of Bellwether Forest Products, an integrated timber operation based out of Camden, SC. Within our U.S. operation, LOTS purchases, cuts, and hauls timber to various mills throughout the state.
We are currently in search of one Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to support our newly opened Truck Shop in Camden, SC. This is an opportunity to grow within a great company and not only expand your skills in this field but exceed your own expectations with career advancement opportunities.
Duties:
This role will be primarily working on truck repair in our 5-bay shop, diagnosing and repairing truck engines, systems and components, trailer ABS, Air, Electrical and brake systems and reporting any other issues noted to support operational quality of equipment serviced. Maintenance management software systems will be used, so comfort with technology and mobile maintenance computers / diagnostic tools is needed.
For machine repair, we operate Tigercat, John Deere, and Caterpillar machinery. This role will primarily be responsible for in-shop truck maintenance though may be requested to perform on road and in-woods maintenance calls to PM service machines, fix hydraulic lines, and other general machine maintenance to keep our crews operating.

Prioritization of safe operations in the workshop and working area following Policy and Procedures is expected.
Qualifications:
Must have tractor trailer experience
Having a CDL is a Plus
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requires working on multiple surfaces
Must have good computer skills and knowledge
Must have a great work ethic
High school diploma or GED preferred not required
Strong Verbal and communication skills
Possession of personal tools a plus
Benefits:
Annual Merit Pay ($23-$29 per hour based on experience). Pay is Market Competitive, Quality and Experience of Candidate will Determine rate of pay within range
