We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our financial operations, oversee accounting functions, and provide strategic insights to drive sustainable growth. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This position will be part of our South Seattle corporate office leadership team participating in monthly leadership meeting and annual business planning/strategic planning positions. The position partners with leadership and property management leadership to drive and report all things financial.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

Manage day-to-day financial functions, including supervising both local and offshore team members.

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.

Generate financial reports and performance metrics to assess the health of individual properties and the overall portfolio.

Lead financial aspects of property acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions.

Oversee profit and loss statements, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability goals.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial partners, including lenders.

Manage payroll operations and assist with onboarding financial team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of senior-level finance or accounting experience, preferably within real estate investment.

Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, with expertise in GAAP.

Hands-on experience with financial and accounting software; familiarity with Rent Manager is a plus.

Proven leadership experience, particularly in a high-growth environment and managing remote/virtual teams.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable financial models.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders.

Experience working in a startup or small business environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Prior experience in the mobile home or RV park industry is highly desirable.
