Job Description

Bailey Collaborative Soultions is seeking skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Analysts to support NASA's Orion Program, the next-generation spacecraft designed for deep space exploration.

In this role, you will conduct GNC analysis and develop simulations to support the Artemis missions, ensuring Orion's ability to navigate, control, and maneuver safely in space. Orion will transport astronauts to the Moon, Mars, and beyond, playing a pivotal role in NASA's Artemis program. As a GNC Analyst, you will contribute to the future of human spaceflight by ensuring the spacecraft's flight systems operate safely and accurately throughout each mission.

This position is based in Denver, CO with potential hybrid or remote work options available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform GNC analysis to evaluate the performance of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.

Develop and enhance MATLAB models and scripts for spacecraft dynamics and control system analysis.

Utilize Simulink to support system simulations and model-based design efforts.

Analyze vehicle stability, trajectory, and attitude control performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support GNC system verification and validation.

Provide technical insights and recommendations to enhance system performance.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required due to facility security regulations.

2+ years of relevant experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) analysis.

Proficiency in MATLAB for GNC analysis and simulation development.

Familiarity with Simulink for modeling and simulation.

Hands-on experience in GNC analysis, including flight dynamics, control systems, or navigation algorithms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with controls engineering, including control law design and stability analysis.

Knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements development and verification.

Experience working with aerospace systems, particularly spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
