Clearance Requirement: Candidates must hold a minimum Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to maintain a clearance throughout employment.

Work Location: Winchester, VA

Work Schedule (On-site): This is a hybrid position, with remote work flexibility and required on-site presence in Winchester, VA and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, as needed.

Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect who will serve as a key technical leader focused on designing and implementing scalable, secure microservices within a cloud-based enterprise system. This role leverages AWS infrastructure, containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and development languages including C#, Java, and Python. The ideal candidate will lead development teams, ensure system security, and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval. Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure microservices within a cloud-based architecture.

Develop and maintain system diagrams for architecture, data flow, and network integration

Build and manage applications in AWS environments across multiple security enclaves

Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and management

Guide development teams in applying Infrastructure as Code, coding standards, and reusable frameworks

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily scrums

Ensure microservices are designed to meet security compliance requirements and support ATO activities

Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies

Communicate technical designs and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on system updates, requirements, and deployments

Support data migration from legacy systems and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility

Document architecture, development processes, and contribute to the required technical deliverables

Identify opportunities for innovation, including potential use of artificial intelligence and automation

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred) or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience required

3+ years of experience working with government Amazon Web Services (AWS) SC2S and C2S enclaves

Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based microservices

Hands-on experience with AWS environments, including GovCloud and high-side enclaves

Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Strong programming skills in at least two of the following languages: C#, Java, Python

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools

Experience working within Agile development frameworks

Knowledge of secure coding practices and system security compliance

Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across cross-functional groups

Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations and documentation

Experience designing scalable, high-availability systems in a cloud environment
