This role will directly support a program providing IT support to the Intelligence Community (IC). In this position, the candidate serves as software architect in support of the application development team and is responsible for ensuring the quality and responsiveness of applications.
rnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS rnrnServe as a software engineer on an application development team.rnMaintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.rnCollaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.rnInvolved in the sustainment of production legacy systems, plus the design, development, and implementation of new functionality within existing applications as required.rnInvolved in all aspects of software design/development, working closely with a team of developers to support systems for a mission-critical function for a DoD customer.rnDesign / develop new software systems and/or enhancements to existing systems based on requirements from the user community.
rnMaintain existing production systems for a mission-critical function within the Intelligence Community (IC).rnWork with Team Lead, key customer stakeholders, and/or the team's Requirements Manager to understand functional needs and provide IT solutions for the customers.
rnAssist with the development of test plans for any software deliverable.
rnEssential functions will be performed on a daily basis, as needed.
rnrnQUALIFICATIONS rnrnUS Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance; may require CI Poly but will be scheduled if needed after employee starts.rnBachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
rnRequires demonstrated technical expertise in computer system applications.rnPrior experience with the following technologies is required:rnrnC#rnAngular, HTML, CSS, JavaScriptrnVisual StudiornSQL ServerrnrnrnMust take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check.rnPunctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
