This role will directly support a program providing IT support to the Intelligence Community (IC). In this position, the candidate serves as software architect in support of the application development team and is responsible for ensuring the quality and responsiveness of applications.

rnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS rnrnServe as a software engineer on an application development team.rnMaintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.rnCollaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.rnInvolved in the sustainment of production legacy systems, plus the design, development, and implementation of new functionality within existing applications as required.rnInvolved in all aspects of software design/development, working closely with a team of developers to support systems for a mission-critical function for a DoD customer.rnDesign / develop new software systems and/or enhancements to existing systems based on requirements from the user community.

rnMaintain existing production systems for a mission-critical function within the Intelligence Community (IC).rnWork with Team Lead, key customer stakeholders, and/or the team's Requirements Manager to understand functional needs and provide IT solutions for the customers.

rnAssist with the development of test plans for any software deliverable.

rnEssential functions will be performed on a daily basis, as needed.

rnrnQUALIFICATIONS rnrnUS Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance; may require CI Poly but will be scheduled if needed after employee starts.rnBachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.

rnRequires demonstrated technical expertise in computer system applications.rnPrior experience with the following technologies is required:rnrnC#rnAngular, HTML, CSS, JavaScriptrnVisual StudiornSQL ServerrnrnrnMust take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check.rnPunctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.

Regular attendance is necessary and required.rnMust be able to work a 40-hour work week, normally Monday through Friday.

However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements.

Needs to be available to work overtime during critical periods and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.rnMust be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.rnAble to work well with and support co-workers and clients.rnMust be able to communicate, verbal and written, effectively.rnMust demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, management and employees;rnGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others.rnMust be able to support and work in a proactive team environment.rnMust be willing to travel as needed.rnMust hold the safety of yourself and those around you as the number one priority in the workplace.rnrnDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS rnrnSecurity + Certification or willingness to pursue that certification shortly after starting the position.rnKnowledge of code versioning tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS).rnProficient experience using frameworks such as AngularJS.rnKnowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum.rnExpertise in various COTS, GOTS, and open source tools.rnKnowledge of AWS or Azure.rnExperience with any of the following technologies:rnrnAngularJS & ASP.NET Web APIrnEntity FrameworkrnWindows Forms developmentrnWindows Server, Hyper-V, and IISrnNode.jsrnDockerrnrnrnrnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS rnrnInside office environment.rnWorking on a computer for long periods of time.rnMay involve long period of sitting at a desk.rnThe work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
