Field Service Mechanic

SDM Co. is currently seeking a full-time Field Service Mechanic to join our skilled team in Washington, UT. Working in the field, you have the opportunity to embrace new challenges every day while providing exceptional service to our valued customers. From diagnosing and repairing complex issues to performing general maintenance, this role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving.

Depending on experience, you earn $25.00 - $40.00/hour. We offer solid benefits and perks, including a week's vacation after 90 days, potential pay increases, 4 paid holidays per year, the coolest tools in the trade for every project, and more.

YOUR IMPACT

You typically work from Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

In this role, you travel to client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles and machinery. You troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, conduct comprehensive inspections, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance. As you work, you record your services in detailed repair orders. Your ability to complete quality work while meeting all deadlines directly contributes to our company's success!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC

2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment and trucks

Class B CDL and valid driver's license

Computer proficiency

Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Punctual, dependable, and flexible

Our ideal candidate can pass a DOT physical and is MSHA and OSHA certified. A Class A CDL would be a bonus.
