Assistant Controller

Job Description

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Corporate Assistant Controller on behalf of our client, a private company in the construction/manufacturing industry. This role offers a long-term career opportunity with steady growth potential. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant industry experience, with a CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with two corporate accountants on financial processes.

Manage treasury functions and oversee financial reporting.

Handle full-cycle accounting, including payroll and financial statement preparation.

Ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.Qualifications:5–7 years of experience in public accounting or the construction/manufacturing industry.

CPA preferred; strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance.

Experience with financial audits, tax compliance, and treasury management.

Ability to work cross-functionally with divisional accounting teams and the CFO.
