Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated diesel mechanic to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This position is ideal for someone with foundational mechanical skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to take on meaningful challenges and responsbilities, including:

Assist Maintenance Manager in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire inspections, and brake repairs.

Conduct basic inspections of trucks, trailers, and other diesel equipment for wear or damage.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Record maintenance activities and complete required documentation accurately and on time.

Learn and follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Support inventory control by reporting parts usage and restocking supplies as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and issues.

What we're looking for:

2+ years of experience in diesel repair or related fields.

Basic knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; CDL is a plus.Company Description
