Job Description

We are taking applications for a Master Mechanic

Job Summary

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair and replace parts on vehicles.

General Accountabilities

Performs a full range of skilled automotive repair work, such as minor tune-ups, electrical system servicing, timing chain replacements, brakes, trans swaps, suspension components, engine swaps and more.

Vehicle diagnostics

Vehicle test drives

Estimates the cost of automotive repairs.

Operates and maintains automotive shop equipment.

Performs minor welding and brazing work.

Keeps records and creates reports pertaining to repairs performed.

Use Mitchell1 shop software for quoting and work orders

Assist with ordering parts if needed

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 8+ years automotive repair experience

Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Deadline and detail oriented

Master State Certifications

Must have own tools
