JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned portion of the company's supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution. The candidate will work closely with manufacturing, quality, finance, accounting, engineering, and commercial to achieve company goals and objectives. This position reports to the VP of Supply Chain & Global Procurement and allows the right candidate to shape, build, implement, and develop the company's supply chain strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and effectively execute all processes and strategies associated with procuring assigned direct and indirect spend categories.
Manage supplier relationships, development and continuous improvement.
Identify supplier and process gaps to ensure continued source of supply and delivery of goods and services.
Develop and implement measurable process improvements to achieve supply chain efficiency and resilience.
Develop baseline costs for purchased and manufactured goods and pursue cost reductions.
Work with various departments to achieve cost reduction goals.
Demonstrated experience/ability managing inventory aligned with company goals.
In depth knowledge of min/max, safety stock, ROP, Period order concepts, ABC analysis, forecasting, etc. in both a manufacturing and distribution environment.
Work with related departments to develop and drive optimal levels of inventory, drive inventory turns and ensure adequate levels of inventory exist to supply both manufacturing and distribution requirements.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, workshops, etc.
Perform related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have bachelor’s degree in related field.
Must have minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated supply chain experience.
Must have minimum of four (4) years of management experience.
Lean Six Sigma Certification, preferred.
Other relevant certifications are a plus.
Demonstrated experience of ERP and MRP systems.
Ability to read prints.
Project management experience.
Experience with domestic and international shipping.
Knowledge of customs broker requirements, tariffs, duties, and associated activities.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand the need for urgency and act accordingly.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
