In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department.
Program Description:
Auberle Outpatient Wellness and Counseling provides trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health and substance use services for individuals, families, and communities. Our program offers therapy, psychiatric medication management, and case coordination to ensure holistic, client-centered care. Clinicians work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote resilience and well-being.
Position Title and Overview:
Outpatient Mental Health Therapist
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with client needs and program goals.
The primary location for this position is determined by the assigned district or specific work requirements and may vary based on client and program needs. Therapists may provide services in schools, community-based settings, or other licensed service locations.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other providers to coordinate care and enhance client support.
Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development to maintain clinical competency and best practices.
Location and Travel Requirements:
This position is primarily located in Great Pittsburgh area. All positions are also expected to come to training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled.
The travel required for this position is frequent.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field is required. Must possess or be eligilbe for licensure in Pennsylvania (e.g., LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or be working toward licensure as required by the position.
Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based treatment modalities, and behavioral health interventions.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation and compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
Requires working varied hours, including evenings, some weekends and holidays.
