Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance or similar field. Three years of experience above qualification (A) and demonstrated leadership skills can substitute for degree.
Excellent mathematical, communication and computer skills, be strongly detail oriented and be able to easily multi-task.
Management or supervisory experience preferred
SQL Experience preferred
Should possess a strong work ethic to positively contribute to the company’s mission and vision, and environmental and quality policy.
Should have a positive attitude, support co-workers to obtain the above objectives, and assist others in their contributions.
Data development skills desired
Modern application development frameworks
Possesses strong technical aptitude and demonstrate time management and priority setting
Lean Manufacturing Training preferred.
Ability to work cross-functionally with IT Department to best manage data collection and reporting
Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines
Ability to work well with other Departments within the Organization
Demonstrated aptitude for working cross departmentally
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing, optimizing, enhancing and improving the data integration and data services that support our portfolio of data-centric analytic applications, as well as oversee and assist Operations Admin team in their tracking of Finished Product and production data.
Job Duties:
Oversee Operations Admin employees to continuously implement best practices regarding tracking of Finished Goods, Operation, and Quality data. Support employees with Sage X3 Finished Product and BOM tracking needs. Focus on improvements to current Sage X3 processes.
Oversee BOM packaging and bulk LN2 invoicing for all pelleting facilities. Develop Best Practices for Managing these Functions.
Work closely with Ops Sourcing Manager on procurement of Annual BOM on Misc. Packaging for Operations Department. Collaborating directly with Vendor Sourcing Managers.
Work closely with Planning, Production Managers, and Supply Chain to Support Production Functions. Includes supporting Planning Department with Master Planning Schedule (MPS)
Manage collection of Operation Production Data, Review for Accuracy, Improvements, Tendencies. Provide Weekly Production Reporting and Charting to Operations Leadership.
Oversee Implementation of SCADA Software (Ignition) within YCH Operations Department working in conjunction with YCH Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, & IT Departments. Focus on Continuous Improvement of data acquisition software and best practices related to data recording and reporting.
Miscellaneous data gathering, decryption, improvement, etc. as needs arise. Process any efficiency improvements.
Focus on the Purchase Order process for all capital projects and eventually all other Operations related purchases utilizing Sage ERP System (i.e. Maintenance).
Implementation of Smartsheets within Operations & Engineering Department. Providing clarification and transparency within the Operations department utilizing software. Creating and constantly improving templates to be used for all Capital Projects. Including maintaining detailed budgets, schedule, and ROI tracking for each individual project. Linking Smartsheets approval chain with the creation and linkage of Invoices in X3.
Assist the Finance department with duties associated with Operations and Facilities/Maintenance as needed.
Notify your supervisor if you identify or recommend ways to improve process efficiency.
Collaborate with all managers, directors, and other departments reports on creating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed and followed.
Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Must adhere to all company policies.
Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
Follow all SOPs in a given area.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
