What will your role be?

Scalian is looking for an experienced Data Architect – Data Migration to lead the planning, execution, and governance of complex data migrations during the actuation (operationalization) of a client’s enterprise systems. The architect will be responsible for ensuring that data from HR, production, supply chain, and suppliers is accurately and securely transitioned across systems, with a strong focus on ERP platforms such as SAP. You will ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Activities:

Ensure the right understanding of Business stakes and needs by providing Functional Architecture diagrams (interactions, objects/data flows, interfaces…)

Demonstrate that Business needs are supported thanks to Component & Application architecture diagram covering all business stakes

Define Infrastructure Solution Architecture coordinating internal or external technical expertise: Solution Architects

Contribute to Project Planning to identify/remediate any gaps between as-is Architecture Landscape and Solution definition/operation needs

Propose added-value solutions based on latest innovative technologies to extent Customer Standards

Provide Architecture Risk Analysis and Mitigation plan Proposal for the domain

Contribute to Enterprise Architecture by identifying Redundancies and Gaps inside/cross domains, by supporting Architecture Master Plan delivery, acting in Architecture Network and by Updating/Managing IM Asset referential

Contribute to develop IM skills and knowledge ramp-up proposing Awareness, Training, Demonstrations, POCS…visit on any interesting new concepts or Technologies

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a related field

3 + year as a Data Architect in an industrial environment is preferred

Strong experience in data migration projects, preferably involving SAP or other major ERP systems

Solid understanding of data models related to HR, manufacturing/production, supply chain, and supplier domains.

Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Strong grasp of data security, confidentiality, and privacy regulations

Hands-on expertise with ETL tools, data mapping, and transformation frameworks.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and API-based data integration.

Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Exposure to Agile methodologies and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF

Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams alike.
