The Maintenance Supervisor will manage preventive maintenance programs, ensure equipment reliability, and coordinate maintenance activities to support high-volume SMT operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and perform comprehensive maintenance on PCBA and SMT production equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering systems, and AOI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
Develop, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance programs through data-driven scheduling and condition monitoring techniques
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, maintain detailed documentation, and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions
Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and automation issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools
Manage maintenance budgets, optimize spare parts inventory through strategic procurement, and build strong relationships with vendors
Implement and oversee lean manufacturing and TPM strategies to improve equipment effectiveness and reduce waste
Monitor equipment performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance productivity
Coordinate with production planning to schedule maintenance activities during non-peak hours to minimize impact on operations
Establish and maintain calibration schedules for all precision equipment and measuring instruments
Design and implement energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred
5+ years of maintenance experience in PCBA/SMT manufacturing environment required
2+ years supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
