The company is currently seeking a Marketing Data Analyst who will be responsible for deriving actionable insights and strategic guidance to support the marketing efforts of AAA Life’s product portfolio. This individual will work alongside marketing teams, data specialists, and analysts to define business challenges, gather the necessary data, perform in-depth analysis, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations. Expertise in SQL, Python or R, and proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, design, and automate user-centric dashboards using Power BI, empowering stakeholders with the tools to make informed decisions.

• Develop and implement data quality frameworks and create consistent reporting templates across the organization.

• Conduct detailed customer segmentation analyses and implement advanced modeling techniques to uncover valuable business insights.

• Track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, providing comprehensive post-campaign analysis and identifying areas for performance improvement.

• Proactively generate recommendations to optimize marketing strategies based on data findings, focusing on enhancing dashboard efficiency, insight value, and automation processes.

• Collaborate closely with marketing teams to address business problems, perform data analysis, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Work with marketing data teams and external service providers to ensure that all data is accurate, complete, and ready for analysis.

• Design and carry out testing methodologies such as A/B and multivariate testing to assess the success of marketing campaigns and strategies.

• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of data, methodologies, and analysis results in a central repository.

• Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency through automation and suggest innovative improvements for streamlined performance.

• Step in as a backup to data scientists and modelers when required, supporting with statistical modeling, machine learning, AI platforms, and marketing technologies.

• Actively search for opportunities to implement innovative solutions that will lead to measurable improvements in sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analytics or data science

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python or R, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure

• Expertise in Machine Learning models and frameworks

• Skilled in version control tools (e.g., Git) and big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark

• Proven experience in automating reports and creating self-service data analytics solutions

• Extensive experience in hypothesis testing, including A/B and multivariate tests, for marketing campaigns

• Familiarity with non-parametric statistics, resampling techniques, or Bayesian analysis for small datasets

• Deep understanding of data visualization practices and automated dashboard development

• Experience with data compliance, governance, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Desirable Skills

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a similar field

• Prior experience in the financial services or insurance industry

• Experience with Generative AI applications in marketing analysis

• Expertise in ETL processes and data pipeline automation

• Strong knowledge of digital and direct marketing performance metrics, including automated tracking

• Familiarity with Agile project management techniques

• Background in both direct and digital marketing operations
