Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

JustinBradley’s client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system analysis, software testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in cross-functional team settings and enjoys turning business needs into technical solutions.

Must be able to go on-site to Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and system specifications.

Perform system analysis and testing using SQL, JIRA, and other relevant tools to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Create detailed documentation including business requirement documents, release notes, user guides, and test plans.

Develop reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or other analytic tools to support data-driven decisions.

Facilitate communication between business users and development teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

Present complex ideas and data in a clear, concise, and engaging manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Prioritize sprint goals, manage changing priorities, and ensure tasks are completed within strict deadlines.

Apply user-centered design principles to propose system enhancements and improve user experience.

Work closely with Agile teams and actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Support system development and enhancements in platforms such as Salesforce (preferred but not required).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

Proven ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose system issues efficiently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in writing and delivering presentations.

Proficiency in SQL and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence for task tracking and collaboration.

Experience with Salesforce system analysis and development.

Knowledge of user-centered design principles.

Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
