Lowtemp Industries is looking for a Creative Media Coordinator who lives and breathes cannabis culture. Your job will be to craft and curate a world-class social media presence for our company, which includes: becoming an expert in solventless cannabis extraction, creating and telling stories and educational cannabis content, traveling internationally, building relationships, and constantly interacting with our audience/community via social media/events. This role works directly with our marketing team and founder to shape our voice and presence across all platforms.
Passion for this industry and the art of hash making cannot be taught, and it is a non-negotiable in this role. Technical camera work, storytelling abilities, and editing skills are all important and required, however, you must have an honest interest in the industry for this role to thrive!
Responsibilities
Create stunning original photo and video content of all kinds in our lab, on the road, and wherever the culture takes us
Meaningfully engage with the community on social media by posting, commenting, seeking collabs, asking questions, and sparking real conversations with our audience
Study and exploit new trends to find smart ways to join or lead them
Travel for events, content shoots, and brand activations;some trips may be international
Represent and protect the brand's visual through our storytelling standards
Bring fresh ideas and test them – help us break through the noise
What We're Looking For
Proven experience with photography and videography. We have the equipment if you have the eye.
A strong creative sense. Graphic design is a plus but not required. You should have a strong grasp of many aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite at a minimum.
Demonstrable Expertise with Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other major social media platforms as well as the ability to to get ahead of environment changes
An intense passion for cannabis culture and ideally extracts. This is non-negotiable.
Strong creative media organizational experience both on and off the cloud, ideally within the Google Suite environment
Someone comfortable in front of and behind the camera
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments
A valid passport or willingness to get one
The ability to work a flexible schedule. Weekend work is needed from time to time, but we offer time off during the week to compensate.
