Job Title: General Liability Associate

Salary: $115,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus

Location: Manhattan OR White Plains, NY

Our client, one of the nation's most recognized defense litigation firms, is seeking a General Liability Associate to join either their White Plains, NY or Manhattan office. With close to 50 years in the industry, they have a massive presence with 44 offices containing 1,200+ attorneys and no plans on pausing growth. With ample room to manage your own caseload and gain hands on litigation and trial expertise, this is a great opportunity for an Associate with prior experience in general, premises, or product liability to sharpen their skills.

Responsibilities

1. Handle depositions and regular court appearances

2. Manage a steady caseload including general liability, transportation liability, insurance defense, and construction cases.

3. Communicate directly with clients, providing timely updates.

Qualifications:

1. JD from an ABA approved school

2. Admitted to practice in New York State

3. 3+ years of experience in defense litigation including premises, product, & general liability

4. Preference to experience handling NYS Labor Law 240, 241, & 200 cases
