Change Management Analyst
Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and managing network maintenance events to minimize customer impact and ensure timely service restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal/vendor maintenance and approvals
Perform impact/conflict analysis and customer notifications
Support field technicians via remote troubleshooting
Analyze alarms from NMS logs
Serve as point of contact for Change Management issues
Validate and maintain network records
Requirements:
3–5 years of telecom experience
Knowledge of SONET, IP, Layer 2, WDM, OTDR
Familiar with tools like Netcracker, OSP Insight, NMS
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Customer-focused with attention to detail
Preferred:
2–4 years service provider experience
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, Network+
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, BGP, IPv6, MRV
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
