Assistant General Counsel for a Premier Multi-strategy Hedge Fund

About the Role

Affirm Partners is working with a premier multi-strategy hedge fund seeking a talented and driven attorney to join its Legal Department in Dallas, TX at the AGC level. The role offers exposure to complex legal and compliance matters across a global investment management platform.

What You’ll Do:

Provide legal counsel to legal and business teams on a broad range of regulatory and legal issues

Draft, review, and support documentation related to private fund offerings, separate accounts, and investor disclosures

Support trading activities by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating counterparty agreements

Collaborate with the Compliance Department on regulatory matters involving the SEC, CFTC, and other regulatory bodies

Contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented legal and compliance environment with an entrepreneurial spirit

What Our Client is Seeking:

Licensed attorney with strong academic credentials

Background in corporate transactional law from a major law firm preferred

Experience in capital markets or investment fund matters and a solid understanding of U.S. securities laws

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, curious, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or collaboratively
