Rare Temp to Perm Corporate/Business Litigation Paralegal opportunity within Big Law working directly with the Director of Litigation. It is an all-encompassing role with lots of exposure and visibility, the opportunity to get further exposure and trained on more sophisticated litigation work, and a very collegial/family oriented 9-5 environment. Their company culture has been recognized year over year. Turns perm after 3 months.

Seeking a Corporate/Business Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process, from initial discovery to trial preparation, trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeals. Responsibilities include managing document production, organizing and maintaining case files, assisting with trial preparation, calendaring deadlines, and handling court filings. The ideal candidate will bring substantial litigation experience, preferably from a mid-sized or large law firm environment, with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and case management practices. MUST be out of a business litigation practice area.

Qualifications:

MUST have corporate/business litigation practice area experience

Maintain a docket

Court filings

Legal research

Draft discovery

Trial prep, tracking of exhibits and trial set-up

5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a mid to large law firm

NY and NJ efiling experience preferred

Cite and fact checking legal briefs, confirming Bluebook citations
