We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco and Ubiquiti technologies to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting a range of networking devices, ensuring security, optimizing performance, and collaborating with IT and business teams to support robust, scalable, and secure network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Implementation:
Plan, design, and deploy network solutions across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments to meet organizational needs.
Cisco Technologies:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Ubiquiti Technologies:
Configure and support Ubiquiti UniFi systems including switches, access points, and surveillance devices.
Network Security:
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security policies to protect data and systems.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Use tools like Cisco Prime, NetFlow, and Wireshark to identify and resolve complex network issues promptly.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor network performance and availability, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure for high reliability.
Collaboration & Integration:
Work closely with other IT professionals and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
Documentation:
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Continuous Learning:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking and cybersecurity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP), and architectures.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, firewall configuration, and wireless technologies.
Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi systems, including switches, wireless APs, is preferred.
Familiarity with network security principles, including firewalls, VLANs, and access control.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience using diagnostic tools to resolve network issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.
